Ronald Ellis Tutt, better known as Ronnie Tutt, was born. He was born on March 12, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. He died at the age of 83 and was of American nationality. However, little is known about his ethical background, religious beliefs, childhood, or parents.

When the TCB band broke after Elvis Presley died, Neil Diamond invited Tutt to become Diamond’s permanent performing and recording session drummer.

He also made an appearance on the Piano Man CD. Garcia’s studio records “Reflections” (1976) and “Cats Under the Stars” (1978) also featured the drummer. In contrast, he returned to the studio with Garcia in 1982 to help record “Run for the Roses.”

Tutt also appeared on Billy Joel’s second and third albums, Piano Man (save for “Captain Jack”) in 1973 and Streetlife Serenade in 1974. He has also contributed to the solo recordings of Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons.
