After Wismichu posted the hoax call video, the lumber company reported receiving a large number of phone calls. According to a company spokeswoman, this “ruined” their business. Wismichu, on the other hand, explained that it was not the same company that they referred to in the video.

Then, in September 2016, Alvaro Ojeda Sacaluga filed a police report against Wismichu after he made a joke about “coming for Alvaro Ojeda” while cocking an airsoft firearm. In his “Pokemania” video, he made it appear as if he was going to assassinate Ojeda.

It came in a section criticizing a video by Alvaro Ojeda in which he labeled Pokémon Go app users “virgins” and advised them to “stop looking at the phone and go to the beach to masturbate at scantily clad women in there.” This, according to Ojeda, made him fear for his life and physical safety. However, the police dropped the report because they did not believe it posed a threat.

Later that year, Wismichu was reported to the police for breaking a bottle over a 21-year-old’s head. It happened after a night of drinking during a political debate. Wismichu later stated in a YouTube video that the incident was factual and not a rumor.
