Robert Lamm began his musical career in 1967 when he formed the rock band Chicago. He recorded six-hit music albums with the group, which sold millions of copies worldwide.
Skinny Boy, Lamm’s solo album released in 1974, was the only solo album released by any member of the rock band until the 1980s. He appeared to be in a period of personal and professional frustration at the time. In 1982, he rediscovered himself and emerged with a new attitude.
He then moved to New York and released a number of solo albums. He formed the Beckley-Lamm-Wilson band with Gerry Beckley of America and Carl Wilson of The Beach Boys. Following Wilson’s death, he released the music album Like a Brother in 2000.
