Yoo Kyung Wan is Jeongyeon’s birth name. However, after being harassed as a child for having a name that sounded like a boy’s name, she legally changed her name to Jeong-Yeon when she was in third grade. She was born in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, on November 1, 1996. Gong Seungyeon and Seo Yeon are her two older sisters. And she is now 25 years old.
