Bell began his racing career in micro sprints at I-44 Riverside Speedway in the early 2000s. He won the Lucas Oil ASCS2 Championship in 2010, followed by the 66 Mike Phillips Memorial micro sprint car race in 2011.
Bell finished second in the American Sprint Car Series’ Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway the following year. He took over for Kyle Larson at Keith Kunz Motorsports in USAC racing in 2013. Racing on a dirt track
When he won the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2017, he became the first Oklahoman to do so since Andy Hillenburg in 1994. He won the Turnpike Challenge three times in a row after winning the Chili Bowl in 2017, the last time at his home track, Oklahoma City’s I-44 Riverside Speedway.
To cap off the 2017 season, he won the Tulsa Shootout’s Winged Outlaw Division. Later, when he won the Chili Bowl again in 2018 and 2019, he became the third player in history to do so.
NASCAR
In 2015, he drove the No. 54 for Bill McAnally Racing in two NASCAR K&N Pro Series West races at Irwindale Speedway and Iowa Speedway, finishing 15th and second, respectively. In June, he returned to Iowa to race for KBM in the American Ethanol 200 and made his Camping World Truck Series debut.
The race’s practice session, he finished second to his KBM teammate Erik Jones and seventh overall. On July 8, he was chosen as Justin Boston’s replacement for the No. 54 at Kentucky Speedway. He defeated Bobby Pierce in the Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway to win his maiden Truck race.
On October 29, 2015, KBM stated that Christopher would indefinitely race in the Truck Series in 2016. His season got off to a bad start at Daytona when Brandon Brown crashed into him on the final lap, destroying his truck.
His truck hit the track and spun around on two wheels before leaping into the air and completing numerous barrel rolls. The following week, at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he was in the lead and on his way to victory when he burst a tire, thereby ending his day. In 2016, he would only win once, also at Gateway. He finished third in the results.
CB Industries Inc.
He and fellow racer Chad Boat announced the formation of CB Industries, a World of Outlaws sprint car team that will field Christopher Bell’s Number 21 Mobil 1 Toyota on September 19, 2019.
The squad won its maiden race, the Jim Ford Classic, on September 21, 2019. The squad later won their first World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series race at Tri-State Speedway on August 13, 2019.
