Danny Porush is an American businessman and former stockbroker who was in charge of a stock fraud conspiracy in the 1990s. The character of Dannie Azoff (played by Jonah Hill) in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 film ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ was partially based on Porush. Porush later told the media that his representation in the film was false.
