The brothers reunited for the first time in ten years on September 23, 1983, in London’s Royal Albert Hall. The event’s organizers and musical director were Terry Slater, Phil and Don, and Wingfield.

Don stepped down from the stage in 2018. He gave his final appearance as a special guest on Paul Simon’s farewell tour in Nashville in 2018. Don and Simon performed “Bye Bye Love,” with Simon delivering Phil Everly’s original tenor harmony.
