Doris Burke was found to be infected with the coronavirus!!
After testing positive for coronavirus earlier this month, Doris Burke, an NBA analyst for ESPN, claims she is now symptom-free. Burke spoke with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday’s broadcast of “The Woj Pod” about her experience. Her first symptoms appeared on March 11, the same day the NBA paused the season as ‘Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz’ tested positive for the virus, according to her.
Burke was covering a game at the time and recalls having a pounding headache and being exhausted. “This extreme weariness was my predominant symptom throughout this,” she explained. She also admitted that there were days when she couldn’t even get out of bed.
Burke was ultimately tested on March 17, but she didn’t find out the results until Wednesday. She claims she no longer has any symptoms, more than two weeks after she first became ill. She said that her weariness was so severe that she couldn’t get out of bed for more than five minutes at a time from March 14 to 17.
Burke remarked on the show that she is “so unbelievably glad to be feeling good,” adding that she is continuing to practice social distance and doing other suggested safety precautions during the outbreak. She is, however, doing well these days.
