Grégoire “Grichka” Youriévitch Bogdanoff is his full name, and he was born under the sign of Virgo. Furthermore, he is of French origin, having been born to French parents of Russian and Polish descent.

His parents were Yuri Ostasenko-Bogdanoff and Maria Dolores Franzyska Kolowrat-Krakowská. His father was a painter by trade, while his mother was a homemaker. Igor Youriévitch Bogdanoff is his older brother.

He and his twin brother Igor are twins, with Igor being 40 minutes older than Gruchka. His grandmother, Countess Bertha Kolowrat-Krakowská, raised his two brothers as children. The brothers are fluent in German, Russian, and English.

Grichka has a strong educational foundation in science and engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Burgundy in France in 1979. Physicist Jean Guitton sued the Bogdanoff twins for plagiarism in 2010. Guitton claimed that the Bogdanoff twins stole his work on the “theory of everything” without attribution. Although the case was finally dismissed, it harmed the twins’ standing in the scientific community.

The Bogdanoffs have also been accused of spreading false science and conspiracy theories. Death

Grichka and his brother, Igor, were both hospitalized in severe condition on December 15, 2021, at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, after contracting COVID-19.

Unfortunately, he died on December 28, 2022, while his brother Igor died six days later, on January 3, 2022. Both brothers were 72 years old and had never been immunized. On January 10, 2022, both twin brothers were laid to rest at the Church of the Madeleine in Paris, France.
