Louis Eugene Walcott was born on May 11, 1933, in The Bronx, New York City. Louis Farrakhan is 88 years old, according to his birth date. Sarah Mae Manning and Percival Clark, both immigrants, gave birth to him. Louis grew up in New York City alongside his older brother.

The organization was renamed the American Society of Muslims under Warith’s leadership. Farrakhan chose to abandon the group and re-create the old NOI in 1978.

He reduced his NOI obligations in the early twenty-first century after facing severe health concerns. He led the Million Man March on its 20th anniversary in 2015. Louis was just banned from Facebook in 2019.

The Southern Poverty Law Center also designated the Nation of Islam as a hate group. In 2019, he was even removed from the social networking platform Facebook for being an extremist.
