She performed the anime series Jewelpet KiraDeco’s theme song! “Zutto Zutto Tomodachi” was also featured in the anime film Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess, which was released in 2012.

In the film, she also played Princess Mana. The song was released as a single on May 16, 2012, and peaked at number 17 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Charts. She portrayed Miu Kinoshita, the daughter of a single parent suffering from juvenile Alzheimer’s disease, in Fuji Television’s summer drama series Beautiful Rain.

Mana Ashida also sang “Ame ni Negai o,” the theme song. She made her solo debut at Tokyo’s Curian Shinagawa General Citizen Hall on December 27, 2012.
