Stern spent most of 2010 and 2011 touring North America, Europe, and Australia in promotion of her self-titled third album, accompanied by bassist Nithin Kalvakota and ex Tera Melos drummer Vincent Rogers. Support dates with the Flaming Lips and a number of winter festivals in Europe are among the highlights. Les Savy Fav chose her to perform at the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas festival in Minehead, England, which they co-curated in December 2011.
Stern was selected as a voter on a panel of great guitarists and other experts for Rolling Stone Magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists List” in 2011 and was named one of Elle Magazine’s “12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists” in 2012.
