Ron Howard Williams was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, on March 1, 1954, to Rance Howard and Jean Speegle Howard. He is descended from Dutch, Irish, English, Scottish, and German ancestors. Ron’s family moved to Hollywood in 1958, but after three years, they relocated to Burbank.
