Sigurd Jonny “Sig” Hansen was born in Seattle, Washington on April 28, 1966.
Son of Sverre Hansen and Snefryd Hansen, he has two younger brothers. Located in Shoreline, Washington, he attended Shorewood High School. At the age of 14, he started fishing and helping out on the family boat.
