Clarke died on April 22, 2021, in Los Angeles, California, following injuries incurred in a car accident after working out with teammate Brandon Boston Jr. Clarke was traveling at a high rate of speed when he blew a red light, striking a car making a left turn and colliding with a pole and a brick wall, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He wasn’t wearing his seat belt while driving a 2021 Genesis GV80. He was 19 years old at the time.
