Vicente Luque was born in Westwood, New Jersey on November 27, 1991. Similarly, he is 30 years old. Pepe Luque and Maria Aparecida were his parents. He first became acquainted with martial arts when he went to the karate dojo with his mother when he was three years old.

In June 2009, Vicente made his professional debut. Before trying out for The Ultimate Fighter in 2014, he participated in numerous regional promotions and had a 7-4-1 record. In February 2015, he was one of a few competitors chosen to compete on The Ultimate Fighter between the American Top Team and the Brazilians. Vicente defeated Nathan Coy through submission in the second round of his debut. In the semifinals, he fought Hayder Hassan and was defeated by a split decision.

On November 2, 2019, he faced Stephen Thompson and was defeated by a unanimous decision.

On April 11, 2020, he was supposed to face Randy Brown. The event was rescheduled due to COVID-19. The tournament took a turn when he was supposed to fight Niko Price, but that was also postponed. The fight was finally held on May 9, 2020. He won the bout by way of TKO. The fight with Randy Brown was finally scheduled for August 1, 2020. Vicente won the contest via knockout, earning him Performance of the Night honors.

He fought Tyron Woodley at UFC 260 on May 27, 2021, and won the fight by D’Arce choke submission in round one. On August 7, 2021, he faced Michael Chiesa. He won the fight in round one through D’Arce choke submission, earning him his fourth Performance of the Night. Vicente was on the verge of replacing Colby in the UFC’s main event Welterweight Championship fight between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. Vicente will face Belal in a rematch at UFC Fight Night 206 on April 12, 2022.
