Xavior, an 11-year-old kid from Montezuma, Iowa, a community of 1,300 people located 70 miles east of Des Moines, was reported missing. He went missing that afternoon after last being seen on Thursday, May 27, 2021. According to Iowa authorities, he was last seen near his residence in the northwestern area of town, wearing a red T-shirt, blue pyjama pants, and black high-top shoes.

Furthermore, the young youngster lived in the Spruce Village trailer park with his mother. Furthermore, he was gone by the morning of May 27, and after speaking with Xavior’s concerned mother, a friend’s mother called authorities later that day to report the youngster missing.

The adolescent had completed his fourth-grade year at Montezuma Elementary School on May 21 and was on summer holiday. Over the next four months, the community donated more than $35,000 through vigils, fundraisers, and a benefit concert in the hope that someone with knowledge would come forward.

More than four months later, a farmer in rural Poweshiek County working on his soybean crop discovered the boy’s bones roughly four miles away from the Xavior home.

There have been no arrests in relation to the disappearance and death of the youngster. According to Mitch Mortvedt, a spokeswoman for the Iowa Division of Criminal Inquiry, the inquiry is ongoing.
